note that LILEA concentrates on breeding dogs with a good
temerament, not a specific type of coat. Even though we have
divided our website into a smooth and wire
section, to accomodate the needs of people wanting to adopt
specific hair types, LILEA has to stress that the following:
The wire 'gene' resides in all of these dogs - a litter therefore
consists of wire and smooth puppies. Although we have experience to
make a REAL good guess as to the the coat type of a six week old puppie
(when adopted) the real nature of the coats are only revealed at 4
to 8 months. When acquiring a puppy form LILEA please know that the
coat type is no guarantee! |

Unfortunately
we lost Zoebie on 20 Feb 2008. Although Lilea is a breeder
and functions as a bussiness - we are dog people and love
every dog dearly. Zoebie had a very special place in our heart,
being the extraordinary mom that she was and she will be sorely
missed |
